22 December 2004

From Dr. A.M. Obote, President, Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC)

Dr. Ado Tiberondwa

  • Today 22 December is a very sad day for UPC members. We have lost a stalwart in the fight against poverty, ignorance, disease and Dictatorship in Dr. Ado Tiberondwa. The PPC is honouring a Press Conference in his memory.
  • I send my condolence to Mary and the family. Ado was my friend and colleague in the UPC. I mourn him greatly and dearly. The Ado I knew never rushed to welcome or condemn a situation. His way was to study a situation when developing a policy which when developed; he implemented it with dedication and determination of a stalwart. I am shattered by the loss of Ado.
  • Ado was a Christian who respected and tolerated his opponents. I have lost a friend and advisor.

May god rest his soul in peace.
